In this video I am going to share 3 simple ways to find a niche. This is definitely not a science and in some cases, you will need to refine your niche or adapt it, according to your goals. And before I give you here some tips on how to approach this topic, I want to remind you that the biggest negative effect of not having your niche defined or clarified, will be in your marketing and in your ability to reach out to your ideal audience. You may not be aware of it, but one reason why your niche is not clear or not defined is that you may be resisting, you may be scared of niching and feel that it is counter intuitive. Some entrepreneurs are simply scared of making a decision because they think that they leave business on the table. The reality is, it’s exactly the opposite because without having your niche defined, your marketing becomes ineffective. And at the end, it costs you too much money to get a new client. And the main reason for this is that every marketing campaign needs a specific message, and if you know your niche, you’ll know what to write, how to write it, how to distribute it and where to distribute it.

Ok, now let me share with you 3 simple ways to choose a niche market.

The first way is to simply choose someone just like you. Yes, that’s right. If you choose someone just like you, you’re giving yourself a huge advantage in terms of INTIMACY! Think about it. If they’re just like you – you will know a lot about them because you are just like them. This will allow you to structure your marketing to speak in ways that will feel 100% relevant. Here’s a little variation on this strategy. One of my mentors told me once, “Your niche is you 3 years ago.” Well, I found this quite intriguing, and if it works for you, go for it.

Let’s move on to option b), which is my favourite way to choose a niche. And this is to pick one of your favourite current clients, a person you simply love to work with. A client you would love to work with over and over again.

Ok, to recap, the first way is to choose someone just like you, the second way is to choose your favourite client, and finally the third way is to ‘Choose one for the moment’ option.
